Congratulations on taking your first step to quit vaping, the first step to improving your health and to reducing your risk of disease. Congratulations on taking your first step to improved fitness, to no longer being dependent on your vape, to freedom and to feeling in control of your body and choices.

Where vaping was sometimes viewed as inhaling harmless water vapor in the past, or as a tool to quit smoking, we now know that this is far from the truth.
We know that the liquid contained in the vape cartridge usually contains nicotine (often at higher levels than in cigarettes), propylene glycol (also used in products like antifreeze and paint solvent), flavouring and many other chemicals dangerous to our health. When these are heated up by the vape, more toxic chemicals are formed. The sweet smelling flavours available to use in vapes often makes them seem harmless, and yet this simply isn't the case.

Hypnotherapy is a proven method to support you to quit vaping by working with the subconscious mind. We help you break unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviours, address triggers, and change your habits in order to bring about permanent change.
Through hypnotherapy, I can help you to manage both the physical and psychosocial impacts of quitting vaping, from addressing cravings and creating new healthy habits, to managing any stress, anxiety and sometimes peer pressure associated with quitting, or that potentially contributed to you starting in the first place.
How it works…
Sessions in the quit vaping program are highly personalised and tailored to you. This is important because we are all different and unique, and so are our reasons for both vaping and for wanting to stop. We’ll start with me getting to know you, your triggers for vaping, your current thought patterns, beahviours and habits. I'll get to know your history and also your motivations to quit. We'll address issues that may have derailed you quitting in the past, and support you both through hypnosis and through conscious strategies that you can use between sessions, as well as after completion of the program.
The number of sessions in the quit vaping program varies according to your needs. Most people find they have completely quit vaping after 2 - 4 sessions, usually conducted weekly. Some people find they have actually stopped after one session, with the second one being a helpful reinforcement.
In addition to the hypnotherapy sessions, you will receive an audio recording to listen to daily. This will support you in your journey to quit vaping.
Hypnotherapy for stopping vaping is incredibly safe and effective.
We can work together in person or virtually (via Zoom or similar platform), allowing plenty of flexibility.
